Inomoto Fuka
She talked about roll cake. The origin is Switzerland in the mid 16th century. The Japanese Date egg is similar to a roll cake. Roll cakes come in a variety of flavors, and recently some have been made with vegetables. June 6 and September 9 are designated as Roll Cake Days in honor of the cross section of the roll cake.
Her favorite roll cake she-can- buy-easily is Roll-chan.
Nanami Takaki
She said that she had been liked making sweets but now she lived alone so she didn't have many tools. She often goes cake shops. She likes cute cake.
Haruka Tajima
She talked about types of cakes. Short cake in Japan are made in layers, but this may be different in other countries. Gateau chocolate is a traditional American chocolate cake.
Rina Aoki
She talked about types of cheesecakes. She introdused us baked, souffle, basque, N.Y. and tart. Soufflecheesecake baked with hot water. N.Y. cheese cake is N.Y. cheesecake is richer than bakedcheesecake because it is made with more cream cheese.
Maharo Sugimoto
She talked about tart. The tart has a long history, the torta changed and became a tart. There are several types of tarts and her favourite is the tarte tatin.
Ayana Usui
She talked about Buche de Noel. Bush means tree and Noel means Christmas. A long, uncut roll cake is covered with cocoa cream and a fork is used to make a tree-like pattern. There are several theories as to why the bark pattern is used.
Rina Tatae
She was talking about her favourite cake. Her most favourite cake is strawberry shortcake. In the past she didn't like it so much because it was too simple, but now she likes it best. She also likes cheesecake, especially soufflé cheesecake and Mont Blanc. There are more and more shops specialising in Mont Blanc, so I would like to go there.
Narumi Toya
She tlked about Fornoir. It means Black Forest cake and it originated in Germany. It looks like a Schwarzwald, the cream is snow and the chocolate shavings are fallen leaves.
Yuki Fukuyama
She talked about cheesecake. Basque cheesecake originated in Spain and nowadays you can find it in convenience stores. It has a dark surface, which is achieved by baking it at a high temperature for a short time. It is bitter on the surface and sweet on the inside, which is why it is so popular. Her favourite cheesecake is Lutao's fromage.
Yu Tomiyama
She talked about Christmas pudding. It is made with eggs and dried fruits and the way it is made is different from the common Japanese cakes. It is eaten at Christmas but is made a month in advance and kept in a cold place for a month. On Christmas Day, the pudding is lit on fire and heated. It is a very nice cake with a different message depending on what you put in it.
